The Speech Language Pathologist at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is an important member of the healthcare team assisting with the evaluation and treatment of patients with swallowing, cognitive and or communication deficits of functional and/or organic origin. The position will include treating primarily adults in an outpatient setting, with specific patient care responsibilities and treatment assignments depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience. • Provide Evaluation
• Provide a comprehensive evaluation of assigned patients; develop & administer the plan of care consistent with area(s) of deficit; maintain appropriate records of activity and services provided.

• Initiate referrals and convey recommendations to the appropriate resource; maintain records of activity and services provided.
• Participate in Meetings
• Facilitate Program Development

EXPERIENCE: Required: None
Preferred: Experience with adult patient population
Required: Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION:
Certification or eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Licensure or eligible for Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation within 30 days of date of entry into job.
