We are seeking a fellowship-trained, BC/BE Mohs Surgeon to join our rapidly expanding Dermatology Department. Our collegial department currently consists of 18 Dermatologists, 2 Dermatopathologists, and a Mohs surgeon. The incoming physician would be expected to perform Mohs surgery, excisions, nail surgery/biopsies, and possibly a small amount of general dermatology depending on the needs of the department. The Mohs surgical suite will consist of four to five procedure rooms, a spacious Mohs Lab, and dedicated staff and technicians. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, collaborative, ambitious, and hard-working individual. We have an excellent plastic surgery department to assist with reconstruction, however strong facial reconstruction skills are essential. The benefits package is comprehensive, and our compensation is highly competitive with a base salary and additional productivity-based compensation. The anticipated start date is August 2023.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other assignments, projects, and duties may be required:

  • Consult, diagnose and treat patients for a variety of dermatological conditions from benign to malignant and from acute to chronic.
  • Work independently treating patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric.
  • Possible cosmetic procedures depend upon interest and according to established guidelines.
  • Ensure timely completion of electronic clinical documentation, appropriately documenting the subjective and objective findings including assessments and plans in patients’ electronic medical records. Ensure accurate coding and billing.
  • Timely follow-up with patients as indicated.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to make appropriate referrals for care.
  • Meet the needs of professional emergency or after-hours calls per practice call schedule.


  • Graduate of an approved training program in the United States.

License and Certification:

  • Licensed in the State of Texas.
  • Board Certified and/or Board Eligible.
