Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is Houston’s premier multispecialty group practice, founded in 1949 by Dr. Mavis Kelsey in Houston’s famous Texas Medical Center. Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is recruiting for a licensed Advanced Practice Clinician for our busy accredited Cancer Center. We are seeking a team player who has a passion for hematology/oncology. This position will work with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and pharmacists at the Main Campus Cancer Services Clinics.
This is an ambulatory clinic setting that sees adult Hematology/Oncology patients. Responsibilities include follow up visits, new patient consults, assessment and follow up of patients receiving chemotherapy and long-term follow-up in survivorship clinic. The NP/PA will also assist in covering the Infusion Center along with covering patient calls/triages/emails.
- Master’s degree in nursing with at least 1-year clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with 1-year experience in adult medicine
- Valid Nurse Practitioner License or valid PA certification
- Licensed in the State of Texas
- Hematology/Oncology experience is preferred
- Hours: 8:00a to 5:00p, Monday – Friday (with some flexibility)
- No call
- Travel to Spring periodically may be required
